PHOM PHUIYING

separated from the other neighbourhood boys by a busy street his mother won't let him cross, Jeab (Charlie Trairattana) spends his days playing with Noi Nah (Focus Jirakul), the girl next door whose intelligence, enthusiasm and energy make her the leader of the two.

Adolescene changes Jeab's immediate social group and he starts hanging around with other boys, and even agrees to torment the other girls, including Noi Nah, at his newfound friends' behest. Noi Nah becomes understandably upset and angry, and soon after, her family moves to another province.

Jeab doesn't see her again...till 20 yrs later, when he receives an invitation to Noi Nah's wedding. He wants to attend her special day, of course, but how can he live down the shame of his earlier irresponsible actions?

ooohhh...we (bamz & me) fell in lurve wif dis movie [tankies idah for borrowing us the vcd]. tot i would suffer from nonengz-ness while watching; wat wif the actors spouting thai and my eyes trying to see their actions as well as the english subtitles. it's quite a miracle when u think abt it yeah? ur eyes concentrating on the movie & reading the sub-titles at the same mmt...hmmm.

ok back to the movie. wat attracted me most was the pwetty & charming lead roles. jeab was sooo cute! (spare the kid, suzie). he was oozing wif charm everytime he smiles, and dis kakak can't help smiling back. haha, as if dia nampak gitu eh aku smile balik? genious attraction factor! i was practically glued to the sofa watching the kids' antics. *sigh* really missed those days when we tot playing 'mak2' or 'masak2' was so fantabulous, hehe.

after watching dis movie, it made me realise dat love comes a-knocking no matter where and who u are. and once u pass on dat once in a lifetime chance, it might never be urs again. sad rite?
